First Grade Wisdom

I laughed and laughed when Coby showed this to me! Here is his wisdom.

Don't cry over... Bananas
The grass is always.... mowed
A bird in the hand is.....nice
When the cat's away.....I am sad
All that glitters is not....that shiny
Money is the root of.....a toy
Don't count your chickens before....cows
Every cloud has a....smile
If you can't stand the heat...go some where else
A rolling stone gathers no....worry, I will save it.

Lucky Kids!

Thanks to one of my husbands amazing talents (building) and the love he has for his kids, we now have the coolest play house ever! It's not quite done yet, we have to paint, install floors, put shingles on the roof, and anything else to make it super cute. I just couldn't wait to show it off! It was fun watching him make it, he was having so much fun. The kids love it! I am convinced Matt can do anything!

Lucky kids hu?

I love to see the Temple.......

We had a very fun primary activity today. We went to the Provo Temple, and took family pictures, walked around the Temple, went inside and the kids got to go into the MTC. What a great start to a GREAT Day.

After the Temple, we wanted to try out our new paddle boat on Salem pond.

The kid's would rather be IN the water.

There were some HUGE carp, I don't think I would get in!

It was a fun day, it is also our 12 year anniversary.

All I can say is that I am a very lucky girl!! I married my best friend! Love you Matt!

Ahhhhh.... the canyon.

We went up to Lakefork, because the river to Thistle was too deep. For those who have heard my theory of the "BIG Melties" that is what is happening. It was beautiful up there, but I couldn't take my eyes of Adey for a second. The river up there was running fast too. We did enjoy being up there with Adam, Tiffany and her kids. We talked Mom into going too. What a great time!!!

It was hard to see Coby in this tree.

We couldn't believe that Oakley could eat so many hot dogs! He even put one between a EL fudge cookie and ate it. What a character!!

Cute shoes!!

Adey got these shoes from her Aunt Linda, who just happens to be an expert on girls. She has four beautiful girls. When Adey opened these, she immediately took her shoes off and on these went. They light up too!! Then we had to do a quick pedi for pictures. She got cute stickers from Trish and her big brother Adam. It didn't take her long to figure out flip flops.
Here is their second cake. I had so much fun making this cake. I had to make sure there were suckers for Adey, and skittles for Coby.

Two birthdays and a trip to the E.R.

Coby and Adey share a birthday April 30. We have about 3 days of celebration!!! This year was pretty crazy. We opened gifts, that was fun!!

Then we headed down to the stock show. Taylor was showing a sheep. That was fun too. Then......

We were waiting for quite a while, and the boys got bored so they went outside to play. I went out to get them, and on their way back Coby lost a fight with a fence. WARNING the pictures are graphic! When I saw his arm, of coarse his first question was, "do I need stitches?" Ummm I hope that's all you will need, I thought. I calmly said yes honey you do. He was on the other side of the fence and he started backing up. Finally I got him over the fence, and he said, "can't we just put a band aid on it." I told him sorry this one is too big. He said, "how about 100 band aids?" I had to laugh. Seriously these are bad!

11 stitches later, we were home and finally we can have some birthday cake!

All the nurses at the hospital felt so bad for Coby, they knew it was his Birthday, so they got him a bag full of fun stuff. They were so good to him. I think he will defiantly remember his 7th birthday. Luckily they get two more parties, I am sure he will enjoy them more!

Happy Birthday to my sweet kids. I love you so much.
