Winter Wonderland

Coby, Adey and Mom making snowmen. This was Adelynn's first time really playing in the snow, she absolutely loved it. She even made her own snow balls for the snowman. It was a fun Saturday snow day!!

Crib escape!!!!

I knew this day would come, just the other day I was laughing about a video I saw on America's funniest video about a baby getting out of his crib. I told Matt "I'm glad we don't have to worry about that yet." Three day's later........ she escaped. I put her to bed last night, she was fussing a little but she always just falls asleep. Well about 1 minute later she was running in the front room yelling BOO. Matt and I just laughed. Now she thinks it's funny. Oh well, now she can get a princess comforter for a bed. She will love it!!!

Disneyland in October

I can't believe it has come and gone. I always wish I would have taken more pictures, but we lost the camera for the last day. We found it as we were leaving under the bed skirt.

We left Sunday morning and headed to Vegas with Herb and Linda & kids. We stayed at the South Point Hotel. That night we went to see the Vegas strip, and just as I remembered not intended for children. The shows are fun though.
We met Matt's Mom and Dad, and Cory and Julie &kids that next day and headed for Anaheim. That was the longest drive, there was a lot of traffic so we only went about 55 the whole time. Only 6 hours later and we were there!!! This is a picture of Adey getting ready for the first morning in Disneyland.
It was quite rainy the first two days, they were having lots of mudslide warnings and flash flood warnings in Northern California. Luckily it was not too bad where we were. The rain was like a fine mist. This is Tuesday morning. First day in the park.

On Wednesday we decided to go to California Adventure for the day. We were all excited for the Tower of Terror, and the screaming California roller coaster. This is Taylor and Coby running away from the plane by Soaring California.

Thursday, we decided to take a much needed break and relax. My boys went to Ryan's hotel to swim and play. Matt and I were going to go to the beach, but Adey was throwing her first fit. We decided to stay at the hotel and let her swim.
That night we did the Mickeys trick-or-treat party. It was pretty cool. Lots of people, but they all wanted to get pictures with the characters. The lines to the rides were very short, so we got to ride them all. The kids were so cute dressed up!!

Then our Monster Mash turned into Monster Mush!!!

They walked until they just could not walk anymore. Friday was our last day. It was hot that day about 90. We watched the fireworks again that night and Fantasmic WOW!! Both shows were amazing. I'm convinced that it does not matter when you go to Disneyland, it will be crowded. We drove for about 10 hours to get home on Saturday. Coby was very sick, and slept most of the way. Now I am sick, and Adey is starting to cough. NOT FUN!!! So glad we were all well for Disneyland.

No thanks, I have my own.

We decided Thursday we wanted to go camping on Thursday. We knew with the busy weekend we better hurry and get our trailer up the canyon. Matt and I took the trailer up to Lake Fork canyon where we found a nice spot, perfect for what we needed...........until, the forest service let us know that we could not let our kids ride the 4 wheelers unless they were certified. WHAT THE??? " Also, don't even let them sit on them, or we can give you a $200.00 ticket. "

Wow, didn't we feel welcome. With little discussion we decided the best thing to do is go to OUR LAND!! It is very hard to get a trailer up there, but we were determined!!

We made it, and it was the best camping trip ever!! The kids had so much fun, they wore blisters on their thumbs from the 4-wheelers. So next time we are going to go camping and need a spot, I can say "no thanks, I have my own!!!"
Good night Taylor and Adey
Good night Adam.

Now, lets have breakfast and go to Thistle!!!

Ya! We made it. Home sweet Home!

Zoey was wore out from chasing the kids around.

It was so much fun!! What a great family I have!! If feel very lucky to have a place to enjoy together. My dad loved to see us up there enjoying it. It is hard to be there sometimes, because I want to see him driving up the road, even if he did only complain that we were having Twinkies for breakfast, and that we were wearing shorts and flip flops. ha ha Sure do miss him!

First Day of School

First day of school Wednesday Aug. 19. My kids have never been more excited. Coby jumped out of bed, and got dressed with his backpack on even before he ate breakfast. I asked him if he wanted to take his backpack off to eat. Coby is in 2nd grade, Taylor is in 5th. Their teachers are great, and I think it will be a great year. Adey wants to go to school with them, and I think they miss her too. Only 3 years and she will be able to go.

Diamond Fork Campground

Adam and Taylor playing cards.

Our last camp trip before school. What a great time. We were told we missed a frog drownder rain storm at home. We just sat around the campfire watching the lightning all around with no rain. The kids were telling stories and jokes all night. They had to take numbers to talk. They loved making their Grandma, and Grandpa Stone laugh. The favorite of the night were Adams blond jokes. The next day it did rain for just a bit, so we played phase 10 in the trailer. We won't mention any names, but two of them were cheating. Taylor, and Tanner!! Then they got the boogie cheaters curse put on them. Tanner was convinced it was really a curse.
Here is Grandpa Stone with all the Stone grandsons.

Adey had to have her new boots on first thing in the morning!

Brotherly Love

My boys really wanted these transformers from the store the other night. I told them that I would buy them, and as soon as they earned enough to pay me back, they could have them.
Right away they asked for things to do, they were even nice to each other. (that was totally worth it)
Anyway, they both earned about $10.00 yesterday, and they needed $12.00. Coby found $2.00 in his shorts pocket that we had washed. He was so excited!!! Then he realized that Taylor didn't have enough. Instead of giving me the $2.00 and being able to open his transformer, he handed Taylor $1.00, and kept $1.00 for himself. Taylor said, "you can't get your transformer if you give me this." I know, he said but neither could you. Taylor gave him back the dollar, and told him to open his transformer.

My heart just swells!! I am so proud of them everyday!

Summer catch up

What a great summer we have had! Camping, swimming, parades, girls camp. It has really been fun! The most exciting news this summer is Adam and Tiffany are engaged!!!! I am so excited to have such an awesome sister in law. Congratulations to them!!!

This is our first pool party.

It rained so much in June, that it just flew by. We decided to go to Fish Lake for the 4th of July. We were so glad when Adam and Tiffany wanted to go with us. We sure missed her kids though.

It rained the first day there. It was so beautiful

My kids are not ready to share their Uncle Adam!!!

The next day, we rented a pontoon boat. Someday I hope to own one of these!! Top speed on this particular boat... 7 mph. It was perfect for us!

Ya, I think we will make Fish Lake a tradition for the 4th.

Speaking of tradition, Cherry Hill with Matt's Family.

I'm sad that I only got my camera out the last day. Every year right before the park closes, Matt, Corey, and myself try to go down a certain water slide as many times as we can. I have to say this year was the funniest. The water was quite cold, and we were tired from being out all day. At one point I was laughing so hard, I could not get out of my tube at the bottom. It was a great time once again!! Well that's enough for now, I still have quite a bit more to share. I have to pace myself. Ha ha . Hope everyone had as much fun as I did this summer!
